Room Change: Public Input Meetings on Transit Development Plan

There has been a room change for the public meetings to be held June 22 and June 23, 2011.

The Grand Forks-East Grand Forks Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold its first public open house meeting on June 22, 2011 and June 23, 2011 to allow the public the opportunity to provide comment and input on the transit system in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks. The purpose of his open house will provide recommendations for the following areas:

· Transit service needs

· How the current service does and does not meet those needs
· Your ideas of what could improve the service.

Unfortunately, there will be no television coverage of the meeting.  If you are unable to attend the meetings, you may provide comments or ask questions of the TDP consultant during the meetings by calling 620-9024 or email questions/comments to bill_troe@urscorp.com.

A brief presentation describing the purpose of the study will be given at 6:30 PM. There will be opportunities for input, questions, and written comments after the presentation. URS will be on hand to lead discussion and answer questions.
