The transit development plan (TDP) is a five-year blueprint outlining what fixed route bus service and demand response / dial-a-ride transportation service are to be provided in the Grand Forks - East Grand Forks region. The plan will outline:
- The current services relative to ridership, quality of service, cost, etc.
- What gaps exist between what residents believe is needed for public transit service and what is currently being provided.
- Growth and change that is expected in the region over the next 5 and 20+ years.
- Changes to public transit service needed to support regional growth and development.
- The costs of service alternatives and how those service could be funded.
Between now and November 2011 we will be actively seeking your thoughts, ideas and opinions on C.A.T. fixed route and demand response bus services in Grand Forks - East Grand Forks. Stay tuned to this website for updates on the study, and for more opportunities to participate.
